«Побутовим рабством» називають ситуацію, коли людину примушують безоплатно працювати по дому чи доглядати за кимось, обмежують у пересуванні, відбирають документи та контролюють життя.
Це може виглядати так:
🔹обіцяли «роботу в сім’ї», а в результаті – цілодобова праця без відпусток і
зарплати;
🔸паспорт чи гроші зберігає «роботодавець»;
🔹людину ізолюють від зовнішнього світу;
🔸постійно нагадують: «без нас ти ніхто», «ти нам винна/винен».
❗ Такі випадки трапляються і в Україні. Це одна з форм торгівлі людьми, про яку рідко говорять, бо вона відбувається за закритими дверима.

“Domestic slavery” refers to a situation where a person is forced to work around the house or care for someone without pay, is restricted in their movement, has their documents taken away, and has their life controlled.
It may look like this:
🔹promised “work in a family,” but in reality, it is round-the-clock work without vacations or
salary;
🔸passport or money is kept by the “employer”;
🔹the person is isolated from the outside world;
🔸they are constantly reminded: “without us you are nobody,” “you owe us.”
❗ Such cases also occur in Ukraine. This is a form of human trafficking that is rarely discussed because it takes place behind closed doors.
The “Confidence in the Future” project is implemented by the NGO “Clear Paper” with financial support from the Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH).
